Prior to that, he held various CFO and finance roles with Cover More, GoGet, WPP PLC and KPMG. He is a qualified Charted Accountant registered with Chartered Accountants Australia New Zealand and the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants. He also has a B. Com (Hons) from the University of KwaZulu-Natal. He joined the Arteva team in October 2021.

The Far North District Council is the most northern territorial authority and serves the residents of Kaitaia, Kaikohe, Kawakawa, Kerikeri, Paihia and Russell, as well as several smaller settlements and rural and Māori communities. We are a growing district of 71,000 people spread over 7,324km². The Far North district stretches from Cape Rēinga at the northern tip of New Zealand down to the Bay of Islands and Hokianga.

Daniel Gronert is an accomplished corporate professional with extensive experience in both the Australian and United Kingdom financial services and insurance sectors. He joined Principal Finance in 2011 following seven years in the UK, where he held a number of key business development and management roles, including an integral role at one of the UK’s leading independent finance and insurance brokerages in London. He was appointed CEO of principal in 2013, acquired an equity stake in 2014 and was appointed as a director in 2015. He was appointed CEO of Arteva in January 2021 when Principal Finance and Premium Funding merged.
