Rose Freeman, sole owner of Willow Insurance, is active in the Saskatchewan broker and business community as a member of the Women Entrepreneurs of Saskatchewan, serving on the IBAS Rural Broker Committee, and as one of the first brokers selected to participate in the IBAS Leader’s Forum, designed to develop entrepreneurial and leadership skills for brokers. She was selected by Make-a- Wish Canada as an ambassador for their national Women for Wishes Campaign and has raise over $21,000 to date for the charity. Additionally, she holds a position on the SGI CANADA Broker’s Advisory Council and participates in the SGI CANADA’S Transformation Liaison Network. Rose has been lauded not only for her financial success but also for the way in which she runs her business: with a focus on teamwork, resilience, community involvement, and commitment to her clients and to business growth. In 2022, Insurance Business Canada recognized Rose as an “Elite Woman,” one of a select group who have broken glass ceilings and become role models for younger women in our industry, and as one of the top 10 brokers in Canada for the third consecutive year, for her innovation and service to clients. She has also recently been highlighted in the Special Report, celebrating outstanding insurance companies and professionals around the world.
