Christine Young began her insurance career at a small, family-owned and -operated brokerage in Surrey, BC. As the preferred agency in the town centre of Cloverdale, Christine was part of the go-to team for the community’s insurance needs. Her experience there established her roots in the community and fuelled her passion to help others. After the agency sold, Christine joined the insurance division of a large provincial credit union in a senior leadership role. Over the years, Christine has held various roles in senior management, underwriting, and internal and external training; the latter being her greatest passion. As the Chief Marketing Officer, Christine oversees Mutual Fire Insurance’s partner relationships, social media presence, and company marketing, among many other small details that keep MFI connected to members and broker partners. Her passionate team shares corporate values outside the walls of MFI, establishing and nurturing relationships with key partners across all lines of business and in the community.

COMM GUIDE
www.youtube.com/primerica
Founded in 1902, Mutual Fire Insurance (MFI) proudly holds the distinction of being the first mutual insurance company headquartered in British Columbia. Our roots trace back to the vision and determination of 44 Fraser Valley farmers and business owners who sought affordable fire insurance for their communities.
Today, that spirit of collaboration continues as we deliver comprehensive insurance solutions for farms, businesses, homes, and more.
As a stable and profitable mutual insurer, MFI offers a unique dual policyholder structure. Policyholders have the option to become members, which provides exclusive benefits such as discounted Residential Equipment Breakdown coverage on qualifying homes, voting rights on company resolutions, and the potential for premium refunds or discounts as declared by our board of directors.
At MFI, we take pride in safeguarding what matters most. Our commitment extends beyond policies as we provide peace of mind and steadfast support to the communities we serve.
As an independent, forward-thinking girls’ school we are committed to preparing girls for a lifetime of learning, leadership and engagement in our global community. We believe in girls.
At Ruyton Girls’ School we foster the individuality of each girl in a caring and safe environment, nurturing her intellectual, physical, social and emotional qualities that are essential to flourish.
Powerful learning is central to the Ruyton culture, building on our strong academic reputation. We focus on advancing the learning of every girl through the engagement of intellectual curiosity, building their knowledge and skills about how to learn, and supporting them to achieve their personal best and be exemplary citizens. We believe in real-world learning beyond the classroom, collaborating with the wider community to promote growth, discovery and sustainability.
We empower our girls to lead lives of purpose with courage, character and compassion. Through the development of values and action-focused learning they are inspired to pursue equity and justice for self and others. By embracing diversity and raising their voices, our girls effect positive change and make a difference.
